You probably don't need more information about decluttering
You may already know the basics.
You know you should start small. You know you donât need six versions of the same thing. You know the clothes that donât fit, the kitchen gadgets you never use and the things youâve been keeping âjust in caseâ could probably go.
But knowing what to do doesnât necessarily make the decisions easier.
You can stand there with something in your hand and still think:
What if I need it?
What if I regret letting it go?
What if I make the wrong decision?
So you put it back. Or decide youâll deal with it another day.
And thatâs how decluttering can stay on your to-do list for months, even when you genuinely want things to change.
The problem isnât always that you donât know how to declutter.
Sometimes what you need is practice: starting, making a decision without endless second-guessing, letting something go and moving on.
Because the more decisions you make, the easier it becomes to trust yourself with the next one.
Declutter With Confidence is new, so the testimonials on this page are from participants in my other decluttering programs and reflect their experience of my approach to decluttering.
âIt has been so motivating with simple realistic ideas to declutter, the timer idea is really clever and it works! ⌠I feel so positive about what I have learned and achieved.â

You don't need to feel confident before you start
Confidence doesnât come before action.
It comes from evidence.
Every time you make a decision about something you own, you give yourself a little more evidence that you can start, decide and move on.
Thatâs why Declutter With Confidence doesnât begin with the hardest things you own or ask you to make hundreds of decisions at once.
Instead, youâll practise with one small, manageable Tiny Win at a time.
Some decisions will feel easy. Others may take a little longer.
But each time you make a decision and keep going, youâre strengthening the skill.
Because the more you practise deciding, the more you learn to trust yourself.
Thatâs what the next 14 days are designed to help you do.
The Tiny Win Method
For 14 days, everything you need will arrive straight in your inbox, one Tiny Win at a time.
Each day follows the same simple rhythm:
â WATCH
See the decision differently
Open your daily email and join me for Coffee with Mel.
In a short 3â5 minute video, I'll share a story, insight or practical example to introduce the day's idea and help you think about your possessions and decisions a little differently.
Â
â DO
Put it into practice
Use your workbook to complete the day's Tiny Win.
Each practical activity is designed to take around 10â15 minutes, giving you a small, manageable opportunity to put the day's idea into action.
Â
âď¸ REFLECT
Build trust in your decisions
Take a few minutes to notice what happened.
Use the prompts in your workbook to reflect on what you decided, what you noticed and what you're learning about the way you make decisions.
Â
Watch. Do. Reflect. One Tiny Win at a time.
Â
Why 14 days?
Because confidence doesn't come from making one good decision. Over two weeks, you'll have repeated opportunities to practise starting, deciding and moving on, helping you build momentum and trust your own judgement.
What does a Tiny Win actually look like?
You won't be asked to tackle an entire room or make hundreds of decisions at once.
Each day gives you one small, practical activity designed to help you practise a different part of decluttering and decision-making.
For example, you might:
Make 10 Easy Decisions
Start with things that don't feel emotionally difficult and practise making decisions without overthinking them.
Try the 15-Minute Promise
Give yourself just 15 minutes to take action, rather than waiting until you have enough time to tackle a big decluttering project.
Look at one of your Hotspots
Choose an area where clutter tends to collect and start noticing what's actually happening there.
Choose your Favourite Things
Turn your attention from what you should get rid of to recognising what you genuinely enjoy, use and want to keep.
These aren't about creating four perfectly tidy spaces.
They're opportunities to practise starting, deciding, noticing and trusting yourself, so those skills become easier to use elsewhere in your home.

This isn't a 14-day whole-home makeover
I'm not going to promise that your entire home will be decluttered in two weeks.
That's not the goal.
You might begin these 14 days walking past the same clutter because you don't know where to start, putting things back because you're unsure what to do with them, or waiting for a free weekend so you can finally âdo it properlyâ.
Over the 14 days, you'll practise a different way.
Starting small instead of waiting. Making one decision rather than thinking about everything at once. Finishing a Tiny Win instead of starting a huge project you can't sustain.
You might see progress in a clearer drawer, a calmer kitchen bench or a bag ready for donation.
But some of the most important changes may be harder to see.
Perhaps you start more easily. Decisions don't take quite as long. You second-guess yourself less. And when you do get stuck, you're better able to make a decision and keep going.
The goal isn't 14 tidy spaces.
It's to finish the 14 days knowing that you can start, make decisions and continue decluttering without needing to wait until you feel completely ready.
Because decision-making is a skill.
And like any skill, it gets easier with practice.
ââŚyou will witness changes that even small actions can bring to your life and environment.â

Is Declutter With Confidence for you?
Declutter With Confidence could be a good fit if:Â
- you walk past the same clutter because you don't know where to begin
- you pick something up, second-guess yourself and put it back again
- âI might need it one dayâ regularly stops you from letting things go
- you keep waiting for a free weekend, more energy or the motivation to finally get started
- you start decluttering with good intentions but quickly become overwhelmed or lose momentum
- you've read the books, saved the tips and know quite a lot about decluttering, but you're still struggling to put it into practice
- you'd like to make progress without turning decluttering into another enormous project
You don't need a tidy home to start.
You don't need to know exactly what you're doing.
You just need to be willing to start with one small decision.
If you're looking for a step-by-step system to completely declutter and organise your whole home in 14 days, this probably isn't the right program for you. Tiny Wins is about building the confidence and skills to keep going.
Hi, I'm Mel
I'm a Professional Organiser, Certified KonMari Consultant and former psychologist, and I help people who feel overwhelmed by their possessions make more confident decisions about what to keep, what to let go of and how they want their home to feel.
Through my work with people in their homes and in my online programs, I've seen again and again that knowing what to do isn't always enough.
You can understand the principles of decluttering and still feel overwhelmed when you're standing in front of a cupboard full of things. You can know you haven't used something for years and still struggle to let it go.
And I've also seen what happens when people stop trying to tackle everything at once and start making smaller, more manageable decisions.
That's why I created Declutter With Confidence.
I wanted to give you a simple way to practise those decisions in your own home, with a little guidance from me each day, so you can start building the confidence to keep going.
No marathon decluttering sessions. No pressure to transform your whole home. Just one Tiny Win at a time.
